AWID UHF Switchplate Type Reader (6" Range) - UA-612-M-U
The Switchplate Type Reader is a UHF access reader that combines the UHF generator, reader electronics, and transmit/receive antenna in a durable, compact switchplate type enclosure. Easy to install with basic wiring similar to a proximity reader, this Switchplate Type Reader can be installed on an electrical box or wall, depending on the area access is needed. This reader provides access inside and outside of high traffic buildings for people while additionally being able to read the UHF hand-held cards presented for vehicle access. Thus, the same hand-held card used to gain vehicle access at the gate, can be used once more to enter the building. This cost-effective design can be mounted on any surface and has tapped holes for quick installation.
