Miller Edge MEL-II-K10 Monitored Edge Link Kit

The MEL-II-K10 Monitored Edge Link Kit (MEL-II) is designed to detect the precence and function of a monitored sensing edge while providing a monitored wireless signal transmission from the sensor to the operator controls. By using a 916 MHz operating frequency, the MEL-II has an improved immunity to common RF interference that would normally cause issues for other transmitter/receiver kits. Additionally, the MEL-II completely eliminates the need for coil cord and retracting reels, allowing users to save valuable installtion time as well as creating a clean, wire-free appearance.

This transmitter/receiver system is designed to provide a wireless connection between a monitored safety edge and a motorized operator that controls the associated door. It meets the UL 325 requirements for monitored devices and has been certified as a UL 325 Recognized Component, meaning that it should only be used with operators that comply with UL 325 using a 10K (T2) terminated sensing edge. Typical applications include rolling steel doors, sectional doors, fast-acting doors, etc.
