BEA's EVOLOOP is a vehicle presence detector for automatic barrier gate opener systems and a great alternative to the traditional in-ground inductive loop vehicle detectors. Designed for parking lots and garages, as well as ticketing applications, this presence detector utilizes biometric and license plate recognition technology, along with microwave technology, to detect cars and trigger the opening or closing functions of the gate opener system. It features a 140-degree opening field of view, as well as a 40-degree elevation view when mounted between 12 and 27 feet. It has proven to reduce the risk of vehicle and pedestrian collisions and is user-friendly, as it reduces the mess and installation time compared to induction loops.
