Applied Wireless Identification Group, Inc. (AWID) is a global provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) products and solutions. Its portfolio includes low- and ultra-high-frequency RFID readers and credentials such as key fobs, key cards, and vehicle tags. How It Works: An access control system determines who may enter or exit a secured area, and where and when access is permitted. When a credential is presented, the reader transmits its identifying information, typically a unique number, to a control panel. The control panel compares this number with an authorized access list, grants or denies entry, and records the transaction in a database. If access is denied, the door remains locked. If the credential is authorized, the control panel activates a relay that unlocks the door. BD Loops

The company offers 54 standard sizes of preformed saw-cut and direct burial loops, along with loop installation tools and accessories. Direct burial loops are designed for concrete pours, gravel or dirt roads, pavers, and asphalt installations. Saw-cut loops fit snugly into 3/16-inch slots in existing concrete or asphalt and are secured with loop sealant. BD Loops also supplies loop sealant, saw blades, and other installation accessories.
