The BEA MS31 Standard Magic "Wave to Open" Actuator Jamb Plate uses microwave motion technology for contact-free automatic door activation. This door sensor is triggered once it detects a moving object such as a hand, cart, or wheelchair. The BEA MS31 is ideal for areas that consistently have high-traffic that may need either enhanced accessibility or more hygienic practices. The detection range can be adjusted to best suit the needs of the environment it's in. For facilities that may be noise sensitive, this unit is silent during activation. The 10MS31J-G model features a gray faceplate that reads "WAVE TO OPEN" and a hand waving icon.
