The Infra-Red Control Unit (MIRCU-02) from Miller Edge converts the monitored pulsed output of a photo eye into a normally open, non-monitored dry contact signal. This makes it easy to connect modern monitored photo eyes to gate and door operators manufactured before 2010, or to add a secondary entrapment protection device when only one pulsed input is available. A built-in fail-safe reports relay or power failure to the opener, helping older systems maintain safe, compliant operation.
