The Miller Edge OptiGuard is a monitored photo eye system that provides thru-beam entrapment protection for vehicles and pedestrians. It is designed to be used with automatic door and gate openers. The OptiGuard comes with an emitter and receiver, both of which can be installed and mounted vertically or horizontally to meet security conditions. If an obstruction breaks the photo eye system's beam, a signal is sent to the door or gate opener, causing the motor to stop and reverse motion. The OptiGuard has a range of up to 100 ft. and is normally closed. The durable mounting bracket also acts as a hood and provides extra protection against server weather, debris, and sun shield. The OptiGuard is easy to install and align with a visible light beam. It is a UL 325 recognized component with a limited 2-year warranty.
