Details
Diablo Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) Single Code Transmitter - AVI-X-1
The AVI-X-1 Diablo Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) Single Code Transmitter comes encased in a rugged housing. It transmits a single code and is compatible with existing systems from Detector Systems, IDC, US Traffic, and Reno A&E. The AVI-X-1 has an extra wire that can be attached to a switch normally mounted somewhere in the cab of the vehicle. This switch can cause the AVI-X-1 to transmit a secondary set of codes while the switch is activated. When the switch is deactivated, the transmitter will revert back to its primary code. The primary and secondary sets of codes can only have one code programmed per set. When a vehicle approaches a gated area, the code is received by a loop buried in the ground ahead of the gate or barrier.
