The EMX Patriot-MR is a compact UHF passive RFID reader designed for seamless integration into commercial access control systems. With a reliable 9 to 10 foot read range, it reads EMX HRZTL and VRTL UHF tags using a 26-bit Wiegand protocol or RS-232 interface. It features an internal 4dBi circular polarized antenna, adjustable RF power (2–25dBm), and weather-resistant housing to ensure consistent outdoor performance. The unit is equipped with a buzzer, flashing LED, and flexible wiring options, making it a versatile solution for secure entry gates, parking control, and high-security installations.
